Will it be a fiasco? CWG

Going by the current news on financial irregularities in commonwealth games, unprepared stadium, construction debris all over Delhi, it pretty much seems it will be fiasco. Well its all the mentality of our politicians, organisers even ordinary man in Delhi have same level thought and commitment to our country. We all tend to do things in the eleventh hour. Since the announcement of Delhi hosting the CWG till today our politicians and organisers who boast of getting the games to Delhi have actually been procrastinating well., 2 months months left Chief minister of Delhi says by august end everything will be done and finishing touches will provided by september. But to see the state of affairs of incomplete work is untenable.Let me tell you about Shiela Dixshit, when at closing ceremony at Melbourne in 2006 she was presented with the Commonwelath games Flag, she just hugged the flag and placed it with her heart. I thought i was watching that, its a proud moment and we have four years to prepare ourself to show the world truly global games. I think she must have felt the same after receiving the flag. But time passes very fast, 4 years on, every body knows what the deep trouble they all are in. Now these days she has become active in moving about delhi , see the pace of development. But with every rain we see water logged streets and jams. She blames MCD for that, MCD blames their luck. Recently she was in a function on the ocassion of a private bank opening their branches in Delhi NCR. I hoped she gone out on streets to actually see jams and debris all over.
Also she announced that by the end of august the contractor fails to complete the work will be blacklisted.
well well, what about incomplete flyovers tkaen up by PWD. what about NDMC who have on record in a newspaper said they will miss the deadline not of august but not before games  to complete underground service channel, 8 new subways and air conditioning plant in Connaught Place. Blacklist NDMC for that they have already missed June deadline causing traders in the area to incur losses due to digging of roads and pavements.

Now i wish these Commonwealth Games had not been awarded to India. At least people outside would not see our corrupt way of life and doing things.

farewell to Sharad cricket Pawar

The 'dexterous' Sharad Pawar wants to relieve himself of work of managing an agriculture portfolio. huh
the reason as stated by the minister himself is that he wants to concentrate on party and wants to reach out to youth. He himself said that he could not meet people at the ground from the last 2-3 years. well what he was doing then in that time. He was enjoying the IPL and its windfall revenue to BCCI. He enjoys being the president of BCCI, so how would he be able to reach out to ordinary public in those 2-3 years. He wants money being a minister MP is not enough money for him. And as long as BCCI is making money he will remain the president and will not retire in whole life like Suresh Kalmadi.
Now he has been appointed as  the pridesident of ICC. Surely his work is going to increase so he asks PM Manmohan Singh to reduce his burden. After all he has set his priority right towards cricket and damn the farmers and agriculture; food prices spiraling out of control and he runs away from his responsiblity at crucial time. The news of 1 lakh sacs of wheat rotting outside in the open in Udaipur. Ration meant for poor could feed thousands for number of days spent in utter waste. Who is answerable the FCI(Food Corporation Of India) who i believe comes in his portfolio. It  is criminal negligence in the country where people literally die of starvation everyday.

From the last 5 days there have comments made by him and news in media about his appointment in ICC and his meeting with PM to reduce his burden. But not a single time he commented on criminal waste of food grains in the country or unfortunately none of the media personnel asked Sharad Pawar about it who himself would not comment on something whose blame lay on him.

Recently he talks of sugar price deregulation, now allowing big sugar companies to export millions of tonnes of sugar out of the country when prices at consumer level have not stabilized yet .

Enough criticising Mr. Sharad Pawar, i think he is a able administrator of cricket in India and the fact that he cant and could not do anything about inflation shows his inefficiences in that. It is in best interest that he should be relieved of his cabinet ministerial shiop and let allow him to rebuild his party. It will be a good riddance.
Somebody else should step in his shoes in hand agri.

lets have freedom

Most of us think that we have freedom in this country. this can be said in two context.
freedom of speech and expression, freedom to go anywhere within the boundaries  of this country  are provided to us through constitution of India, the mother of all books that we have to abide by. But as i said books and perhaps only in books, and obscure in reality. Second type of freedom, few people do have freedom of sorts which is not written anywhere especially for them. Freedom to break laws. how easily in our country people commit crimes and just get off like it was their some hobby to do once in while. How easily a politician take laws in their hands, how they can siphoned crores of taxpayer's money in their bank a/cs. How a rich drunk teenage can mow down people in the night. This type of freedom is provided to the powerful and rich people there is no leash on their acts.
Those were the two types
We are sensitive, insecure, intolerant society, thus highly vulnerable. I dont have to mention the case of M F Hussain, or taslima nasreen, or north Indians in Maharashtra. we dont have freedom to express a humour through a cartoon or making a painting or publishing a book but they have all the right and freedom to create mob, destroy public property, ransack exhibitions, abuse people. Sometimes its only jungle raj thats prevails and authorities just keep mum. Authorities have laws and force but no use of that force except in matters where only poor and not powerful people are involved. The groups like shiv sena, mns, bajrang dal and their ilks spread only venom and make hate speeches, they get weapons and come out on street creating tangible disruptions, authorities by not acting against them not only getting away from the situation but making them stronger. there is no deterrence. You these days if anyone has a problem and wants to convey to the govt, he'll just pick up a rod smash glasses of trains, buses, stores etc. yes thats the way.. We all are of same society that people like us also have tendency to break laws and even feel proud about jumping a traffic light.
see the point is its hard to convince people that all of us are being used as just pawns by some groups  mentioned above. how are we going to fight them. Since we are not them and since have no weapons but have the power to vote them out and pressurize state govt. to take actions against them, if they dont vote them out and let them know why
we are a majority of people but are silent, expressing through blog is only to tell u that is the strategy to do it or otherwise what do we do with our freedom, we want be superpower and progress and that will ni\ot happen until those who create impedance are removed..
